I saw that a little while ago today. We are 19th out of 30. Not bad for starters considering we we ended the season 22 of 30. We moved up 3 before the Draft or making any moves OTHER than firing FHB and hiring LB. Guess Coach Brown is worth 3 spots by himself!

I have to say I am surprised we are ahead of Philly and Toronto, and also NJ and Indiana for that matter. But I think that will be accurate. I think, if we make the right moves in the Draft and FA, we are primed to make a move. We are not going to be Championship material this yr, but Playoff material is a good possibility.

Miami at better odds than us is a real slap in the face; Pat Riley doesn't even think Miami's odds are that good. WTF gives with that?!?!

That is the effect of adding Beasley or Mayo to Wade and Marion. That's all it can be. And NBA people like kissing Riley's butt. I lost respect for him after he pushed Stan Van Gundy out so he could lead the team during it's title run. That was such BS.

Ya, and what's up with Miami having the same odds since Golden State? A team that was 48-34 having the same odds as 15-67.....odd.

Also, people love to verbally felate all things Wade.

Oh, and the East is SOOOO weak (as clearly exemplified by the east's dominance of the west in the finals).

HA!! That's better than my "metaphorical handjob" I threw out there a couple weeks ago on a different thread. I'll have to remeber that one! REP!

Feel free to use it all you want. That phrase comes in handy a lot when you want to instantly cut down brown-nosers.

Back on topic, those odds look pretty accurate. Of course, they can't all be right because life's just never that boringly predictable. Let's hope the bobcats are one of the more inaccurate ones (in our favor, of course).

I heard we got mentioned yesterday on Around the Horn about teams to look out for in Eastern conference. That potential Miami Heat team with Mayo or Beasley scares the hell out of me honestly I'm surprised they are not a bit higher.

    Potentially. Say they get Beasley:

    Wade
    Cook
    Marion
    Beasley
    Blount/Mourning

If they got Rose (this team I fear more)

    Rose/Wade
    Wade/Cook
    Cook/Davis
    Marion
    Blount

They'd be a lot better not having Wade handle the ball so damn much. His A/T ratio is awful. Limiting that would help the team in every way. His off the ball skills would be better for the team then his "PG skills".

Let's just hope they draft Brooke Lopez because of his love for Disney figurines.
