The only thing is the article mentions that Miami will draft Mayo and then trade him, making me think they are planning trading the 5 with the Knicks and taking Westbrook or Bayless. I don't think there's anyway we move up to 2 for Mayo instead of Beasley.

The Knicks/Heat trade makes a lot of sense from each team's perspective, especially if the Heat get a Balkman or some other quality role player out of it.

if miami is looking for a backcourt mate, why wouldn't they just draft OJ and keep him?

either way, it looks like miami isn't trading with us...hopefully we can trade with Memphis for #3 then to get beasley...somehow, someway

Ha! I am more impressed with what's written farther down about Gordon's stock rising. Wasn't it earlier in the week his stock was falling and he may land in Sacramento?!?! This predraft has been utterly insane. Now it looks like we may have a chance at Russell, after I resigned myself to the fact we wouldn't get him last night. Thank god it all ends tomorrow night....I can't take this torture anymore.........

The latest draft mock I saw has the Bobcats taking DJ Augustine. Wouldn't that be Brandon Knight all over?

And Ian Thompson of SI, has us taking Kosta Koufos at 20. I like that pick, but doubt he'd still be there. He has upside, decent athleticism, and overall face up/back to basket skills.
Plus at 7'0" 245, he's got good size for a freshman.
