The Clippers are not getting rid of Thornton. He's really blossomed into what they want to build their franchise around. I don't really like Smush Parker either, nor do I like Odom, or Lee.

Brand on the other hand is looking to be dealt. Wasn't he the guy Miami was going to trade for and give up Beasly? He has some questions about his health though coming off injury, but if we could pry him away for say Felts and Ammo or McMay then why don't we spring for that? Brand is a proven contributor and would be great for us.

I would love having Rasheed Wallace as well, he has that crazy streak that could really put some iron on the collective bobcats nuts. He's a possibility due to his history with LB, but I have no clue what we could give for him.

I would do that deal for Brand immediately, but that deal doesn't look realistic (to me at least). And didn't Sheed say he was going to retire after this coming up season (something about being old and tired, and wanting to spend time with his kids).

To me that sounds like code for, trade me I don't want to be here anymore. He isn't the type of player that is satisfied with losing in the Conference Finals. He's only 33 I believe, he could pull a Shaq and be reinvigorated with a trade to a new franchise (namely the Bobcats)

we are below the cap... and have a better situation than most teams.
