    Default Disappointed

Man I hope we pull off a trade for a known, popular, talented commodity now, because in all honesty this draft sucked. I liked the Augustin pick because I feel he'll be the best PG out of the draft besides Rose. But, after that pick I can't comprehend wtf we were trying to do. I felt like we needed a pick to solidify our franchise or we're in trouble as a franchise... Well, it didn't happen. Augustin is known, but doesn't have the starpower of a Mayo or Love...

I hate gettin' so hyped up every year over the possibilities we're presented with in the draft and always end up falling asleep during the draft because of the mediocre results. Last year was probably our best draft because we acquired JRich, and only for that reason because Dudley is nothing but a career role player. I'm really disappointed.

And we used the 20th pick as a throwaway... Believe me, if we don't acquire a legit big man, the Nuggets won't be getting that lottery pick next year, because we'll be lottery bound again. This Ajinca guy will never see an NBA court. He is a BUM. 5 ppg? Uncoordinated, lanky, horrible. We needed a legit big man now!

Also, why would MJ confirm that we almost traded Crash WTF Doesn't that create a great work environment? We almost have to trade Gerald now because I'm sure he won't be happy or feel wanted by a team that almost traded him for TJ Ford...

Sorry guys, I'm just venting, but I don't think I've ever felt so hopeful for the opportunities leading up the draft and then walk away with almost nothing...

if crash wants to leave because of that, tough noogies...this is the big boys league and first off, it's a business...you have to know that players are always being shopped no matter who you are (for the right deal)

I like DJ as well...we wanted a point guard instead of a combo guard (bayless)...from the larry brown/MJ postdraft interview on the bobcats site, it looks like we're trying to have Ajinca play a little bit this season. get him exposed to NBA play...i hope so

plus weaver is a good pick to add perimiter defense to our guards as well as good passing skills

overall i'm content with this draft. However, I will be upgraded to "happy" if Ajinca plays this season

I liked the Draft. Give us a B. If we make the trade for our PF, it might be an A.
