    Default Okafor Updates

Well, the official QO is extended. Now we have to see what happens. Kind of surprised they didn't do something with Othello to keep him as an expiring Contract chip for any trades. Will also be interested to see if anyone makes offers to Hollins.

I'm thinking they both sign with us for at least the next year. I wonder what kind of contract we'll give Hollins.(2 years max, right?) I really hope we can get Oak for cheap. I'm unsure how much the QO is for, but I imagine it's less than some other teams would be willing to pay for him and less than we will end up paying for him.

I think I saw the QO on Okafor at $7.1 mil

I think the Bobcats will end up over paying to re-sign Okafor when they find out that Alexis Ajina has a very long long long way to go before he will be effective in the NBA.

He was dominating draft big men like Hibbert and Koufos in workouts, so hopefully LB can get him in the game for 10 good minutes per.

EXACTLY!!! All you need out of a "prospective" #20 pick is 10 min per game. I want Mek to be a Bobcat for years to come. Did I hear he was 2nd in the league in Double Doubles last year? Plus the defense? Come on! I feel like we dodged a bullet with him turning down last year's offer, but I want the guy on the team, I think he's gotten over the injury bug and with a good solid head coach he'll flourish.

Ajinca might have looked good in pre-draft workouts but that is not the NBA and he has got to get on the Sean May weight gain program cuz he looks like a 7'2" tree branch.

Well everyone was saying that Lopez, Koufos and Hibbert were going to come in and immediately contribute to a team. because they were better more polished more accredited basketball players at the time.

So if Ajinca is dominating those guys in workouts, how hard is it to believe that he will have an immediate contribution to this team. Not to mention he will get better as the season progresses.

Kevin Garnett looks like a 7 foot tree branch too. and Id take him on this team.
