Default Sean May + Gerald Wallace for Carlos Boozer

There is a rumor circulating around RealGM. THERE IS NO SOURCE other than a guy that was at a wedding. I am not gonna explain it but you can read it here:

    http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=824081

Now that I think about it I have heard absolutley nothing about Sean May in Vegas working out. I think this rumor does have credibility. Remember I went to his basketball camp at Providence Day School last year and I heard alot of stuff straight from Sean May. He does talk alot and he lets everyone know whats going on....You now, in a Sean may kinda way.

Anyway, if this falls through we could compete for Eastern Conference finals. I truly do believe that if this goes down we are better than the Cavs, Wizards, Hawks and Magic.

    Our lineup would be:

    1. Felton/Augustin
    2. Richardson/Carroll/ *Weaver if signed
    3. Morrison/Dudley
    4. BOOZER/ Ajinca
    5. Okafor/ Mohammed/ *Hollins if signed

To add fuel to the fire, I noticed while reading about SL practice in the Fayetteville Observer article that someone else had posted earlier that Raymond and Jason were watching practice:

Gs Jason Richardson and Raymond Felton watched the midday practice from the stands. They're in town for individual workouts with the coaching staff.
That's great about those two being there and already getting into workouts with the staff, but wasn't Gerald supposed to be in town too? Why would he just not show up? hmmm...

I thought I had read an article about May going through drills with the team in Vegas... I was wrong. The article mentioned that he planned to fly out to Vegas the next week to go through drills, but nothing written this week has mentioned May being there that I remember. I find it hard to believe that the Jazz would let Carlos go for May and Wallace though. But, I think it's a great deal for us both ways. Gerald is one of my favorite players in the NBA, and he and J-Rich are neck and neck on our team... I'd hate to see him go, but if it does go through we couldn't complain. May will never be right...

I agree that this is the only thing that worries me. Of all the trades talked about this offseason this is the one I like the most for our team. Someone said that his defense is bad? I could care less about that. We need an OFFENSIVE threat in the post. Mek can take the other teams scoring big and now the only time Ray gets him the ball is when he's in position to dunk.

Maybe not if you consider his contract status and the risk of him walking for nothing after next season.

They think he's going to opt out next year and bolt for Miami, and they'll have the space with Marion's deal off the books.

Would Miami still want Booz with Beasley in the house now though? Someone has to play defense.

It'd be a risk, but I think we'd have to take it if Utah would bite. I sure hate sending Crash to Salt Lake though...he doesn't deserve that.

^They could play B-Easy at the 3 and Boozer at the 4 and shop Marion if need be.

You beat me too it I remember reports of Boozer really wanting to play in Miami when he becomes a free agent next year.

The deal would be ok but I don't like the thought of Dudley or Ammo being starters for us to be honest.

and more fuel to this fire is that Larry Brown seems to really like Dudley and Morrison and talks about them both alot in the interviews.
