Even with all his antics I've always loved his game I'm pretty sure the Kings would love to have Crash back as well. I just love tough minded players that play with 110% intensity and do all of the little things plus can score.

Man... I'm a little scared of this. I really don't want to trade Wallace for Artest, and I'd hate if Felton were somehow included."If not, they'll hope to make something happen with someone else. Among the teams I've been told to keep a serious eye on in the Artest sweepstakes: Dallas, Miami, Phoenix, San Antonio and maybe even Charlotte. I often wonder about Toronto as well, but have yet to hear anything substantial on that front."
Artest has some tantalizing skills, but I'm scared to death of the circus that comes with him.
SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

RIP Michael Jackson & Steve McNair
Im just throwing this out here, artest is a top 10 player in the league when he isnt crazy insane. He was disgusting at one point, though I havent really seen him play in Sac
I'm all for Artest in a Bobcats uniform!! I've posted as much already. He's a great player but I even don't mind some of his antics. One thing is for sure, if we had Artest we would definitely get more national media attention. Some of the blow-ups between him and LB would be monumental!
His skills are exactly what we need. Crash is a great defender in his own right but Artest is a GREAT on-the-ball defender. We can put him on the stars of the league (even 4's in some instances) and essentially leave him on an island.
The real problem would be keeping him long-term. Also, I wouldn't want to give up more than Crash for him, ideally not even Crash but there is no way in hell to get him w/o Crash.
Well after watching Augustin in the summer league so far he looks really good. I think I would trade Felts for Artest

I don't want to give up Felts for him. Like I said, no more than Crash, anything else wouldn't really be worth it

Are you saying that you think Wallace is worth less (in trade) than Felton? Wallace is a near all-star caliber player. I'm not saying I'm for trading either one for Artest (maybe, maybe not) but I'm thinking that Wallace is worth more than Felton on the open NBA market.
I know the value of point guards and I am actually a big fan of Felton's but Wallace seems to be the guy that would demand more respect in a trade from the overall league. Just wondering...
Either way, I'm expecting to see Artest in a Lakers jersey next year.

Exactly!
I'm assuming Wallace would have to be in an Artest deal, as we'd have to trade several players for him to make it work salary wise. Plus, Sacramento would have to need a quality player in return, especially with Odom already setting the bar.
I was saying I don't want Felton to be included in a deal that would also include Wallace.
As for a deal based around Felton (and some package of Morrison and a couple of other guys), I think we'd be a worse team if we traded Felton for Artest, even if Artest is the better player. We'd virtually have to trade Wallace to someone else for another player, either a legitimate 4 or another pg.
At any rate, I think I'll keep what we have.
