Lightbulb Our Rotation is better then most teams

As far as know this will be our starting unit and their subs for the up
coming Bobcats championship season ( I say that every year ).

    PG- Felton
    SG-Richardson
    SF-Wallace
    PF-Okefor
    C-Muhammed

    Subs (offense) Subs (defense)

    Offense
    PG-Augustine
    SG-Carroll / Weaver
    SF-Morrison
    PF-May / Davidson
    C-Ajinca

    Defense
    PG- Augustine / Felton
    SG-Weaver / Wallace
SF- Dudley / Wallace / Weaver
    PF-Davidson / Ajinca / Free agent
    C- Ajinca / Okafor / Free agent

To me this sounds like a pretty good unit, once training camp starts and everyone gets a feel for his teams mates. I know we still have problems in the big man area. Alot of people on the site are upset we didn't get Lopez with the 9th pick. Lopez is "ok" on offense, But he is not Defensive threat at all. Plus he's not a beast on the glass. DJ is a great back up for Felton and There's no drop off in the offense and play making.

Ajinca... I have my doubts now , but lets see what he does after training camp and the season starts. He's no all star right now, But he could be pretty helpful to us this year.

Weaver and Dudley add good defensive flexibilty, Carroll and Morrison are deep threats and could spot up when Dj or Felton drive to the lane.

May is really the question here, If he's heathly (finally), He adds a much needed rebounder and down low threat.

If the Bobcats run the fast break style offense off missed shots, Then you can look forward to DJ and Felton pushing the rock up the court. Carroll and Morrison spoting up on the wings for three. Richardson and Wallace flyin in for a dunk or Omeka and Ajinca as the trailor's.

    What do you think

LB has stated that he wants May as a starter if he returns so i'd change up ur current lineup order and switch muhammed and may.

    felton/augustin
    richardson/carroll/weaver
    wallace/dudley/morrison
    may/davidson/ajinca
    okafor/muhammed

that will most likely be our main rotation along with w/e free agents we sign.

The PF spot is a big IF still.

That's why this draft blew so many people's minds, including mine. the PF spot is a big stinking gaping hole in our starting line-up. Looking back at the draft I don't think anyone, other than maybe Love could solidify our frontcourt.

I hated last year not knowing who was going to start. You go in a game thinking ok is Hammy McBiscut going to use Ray at the 2, McInnis at 1, J-Rich, GW, and Okafor all move up to positions that don't exactly fit. This year is the same way. Is Mek starting at center or forward. Does Gerald have to play PF and get knocked in the head some more? Does Nazr start? What about May? What about Ammo? What about even Davidson? I don't like a big old ? in my team's starting line-up.

I think Okafor is a good center. I don't know if we brought in a really good center that Okafor would be a better PF. I, like everyone, want a big body down there with Okafor. I just dont know what's going to fit best there.

So yeah, hope for the best with either May, Davidson, AA or something. Nazr doesn't start in my mind if May can play. I don't feel good about either of them starting but it's the best we have for that position.

But yeah, we have a really solid rotation. I don't want to bring a non-offensive beast of a PF or C off the bench first, but we're going to have to.

I Agree with everyone that we have a BIG question mark at either the PF or C depending on what line up Larry Brown chooses to start. The one bright spot i guess is there are alot of other teams in the league right now above .500 that don't have dominate big men. I understand our line up as it stands today won't bring my state it's first pro basketball championship. But we can win more games and thats always a start. This is the fifth year, 3rd coach and we haven't won more then 35 games. Check out the starting line ups of all them other teams. Pick out the better three or four guys coming off the bench. I think we stack up pretty good. The bobcats have always been a defenvive minded team. We have good athletes, we have people who can handle the ball and play makers. Bar'n any injuries we should win 40-45 games.
