The "Official" Bobcat Player Nickname Thread

That boy badly needs a (short!) nickname.

Lets see if we can come up with the definitive nicknames for the members of the team.

First A brief tribute to great nicknames no longer with us
Sam Vincent - "Fine Ham Biscuit"... or simply "The Idiot"
Primoz Brezec - "The Slovenian Butterfly", "The Pillow"

Of course we already have Adam Morrison who has cornered the nickname market: "The Stache", "Big Vanilla Earthquake", "Seargant Awesome", "The Tall Ninja", "Spokane's Most Wanted"... etc and the list goes on.
Personally, I'd like to ditch "The Stache" nickname for one of the others or something new entirely

Jason Richardson - "J-Rich"... not a very exciting nickname for an incredibly exciting player

Gerald Wallace - "Crash" ( This is PERFECT )

Matt Carroll - The Hammer ( I think this nickname is a Big Slam creation )

For the rookies we have:
Alexis Ajinca - "The Eiffel Tower" and I think there were a few others
DJ Augustin - On draft night it was "The Smurf"
Kyle "Dream" Weaver

Sean May, Emeka Okafor, JD1, JD2, Nazr don't have any nicknames that stuck


OK Guys, this is our task. Lets find the perfect nicknames for everybody

Jason Richardson - "JSwish/Swish"

For Nazr, when he started playing pretty well for us last season I thought that maybe we could call him "The Prophet" since his last name is Mohammed, but I'm not sure. Is that insensitive or offensive? Might be to some. Would probably fit better if he was slightly more productive.

Jared Dudley - "The Dude," "Duds"

Adam Morrison = Ammo

Sean May = McMay or Big Tease

Raymond Felton = Felts I never really liked this one but I remember we could never think of anything better.

Jared Dudley = Studley (Found this on Wiki player nickname page)

Emeka Okafor = OK50, Mek, Blockafor

Shannon Brown = Springs

DJ Augustin = Smurf, Black Nash

Alexis Ajinca = TwiggyV2, Frenchie,

Big Slam came up with Swish...but maybe you were the first on BCP to put a "J" in front.

They need to be short or else it's a pain to type, why I don't use "Super Jamero".

Twiggy (Twigs)...Slam's.

Mek...players call him that, EO50...that was Slam's as well.

Crash...far as I know Slam and I were the first to start using that in the game threads the 1st season after we heard "Crash Test Dummy".

Felts, "Nephew"...that's what he said some of the players call him.

Nazr...already short and he's already too old for a nick!

Dude...another of Slams, tho I prefer "Duds"
