Default Evans knocks Liddell out in the 2nd round

Liddell should hang it up now, thats 3 losses in 4 fights for him. On the other hand Dana White is saying that Rashard Evans has earned himself a title shot. They are planning on having him face Forrest Griffin at UFC 92.

I had a feeling Evans would upset him but not in that fashion and yea Zig Chuck should call it quits but I can't see it happening just yet since he's still a money maker for Dana White. Dana will just feed him a couple of scrubs next year to get him back on track lol.

For someone the critics say can't finish fights Rashad Evans KO's are becoming vicious first that high leg kick KO now this I wonder what Griffin thought while watching that outcome.

Yeah Chuck is officially washed up now. He hit his peak right before the last rampage fight, now he is just cashing in the iceman name. Plus i think he is 37 now, so he is done being a top flight contender at 205. I missed the fight but I had it 50/50 either way, I knew Rashad was solid. I think Forrest/Rashad fight would be a really good one that could go either way also.

On another note I saw that Randy Coture is coming back and will fight Brock Lesnar. I know Brock is green, but I think he will beat Coture, as long as he doesn't get submitted. He was kicking Mir's ass but got caught with a submission, and looked great in his last fight as well. Randy hasn't fought in over a year, and he is 44 years old, so I give a slight edge to Brock. If he wins then he shows the world that he is legit. Should be a good fight.

Really? I would still put my money on Randy Couture (he looked outstanding in his last outing) even at 44 only person I think could dominate him right now is Fedor Emelianenko.

For me it's almost flip a coin. I just think if Brock can avoid submission that he will win. If I had to choose I would say 51% chance Brock wins, 49% Coture. Randy is definitely the man, and a warrior I have great respect for. If Brock wins he is certainly the real deal, if Coture does it will be with his veteran savvy. I just don't see Randy doing much with the 265 lb mountain brock, and who knows how much rust Randy has after not fighting for a while at 44. Brock is certainly the better athlete, and a (real) wrestling champ in college. Should be a great fight though and one that I will clear my schedule to watch.

Is there a date set for that fight Reesie? I'm assuming it will be in 2009.

Ok cool I can't wait to see the rest of the card it's already looking like a must buy though based off of the main event.
