How much did Hurricane Ike affect gas prices in your area?

I paid $4.29 a gallon just outside of Charlotte yesterday. How are the prices looking in your area?

I paid $3.95 a gallon yesterday here in Rock Hill, then traveled through Blacksburg and they were charging $4.69.

Panhandle had it for $4.29 and the Shell for $4.09.


The funny thing is, during all of this craziness over gas running out. I went up to pump some gas for the lawnmower and there was a fuel truck just-a-pumpin-away filling up the place. Yeah, running out of gas my ass.


If I sound insensitive to the Ike people then sorry, but I really don't think Ike is going to make us run out of gas. I've held the thought that its one of those psychological ploys for the gas people to make more money since the prices have been dropping recently.

Sure I could be way off base, but thats my story and I'm stickin' to it!
