    Default Who's Our 15th Player?

C: Nazr Mohammed - Ryan Hollins - Alexis Ajinca
PF: Emeka Okafor - Sean May - Jermareo Davidson
SF: Gerald Wallace - Adam Morrison - Jared Dudley
SG: Jason Richardson - Matt Carroll - Shannon Brown
    PG: Raymond Felton - D.J. Augustin -

I haven't been able to keep up with the Bobcats much this summer so I don't know who our 3rd PG is going to be can someone help me out?

I think it's been pretty well established that it looks more like this:

C: Emeka Okafor - Nazr Mohammed - Ryan Hollins
PF: Sean May - Jermareo Davidson - Alexis Ajinca
SF: Gerald Wallace - Adam Morrison - Jared Dudley
SG: Jason Richardson - Matt Carroll - Shannon Brown
    PG: Raymond Felton - D.J. Augustin - ?????

Brown has been discussing a need for a 3rd PG. Then again, after seeing us make a bid at Landry, it may be something more like this:

C: Emeka Okafor - Nazr Mohammed - Ryan Hollins
    PF: Sean May/????? - ?????/Sean May - Jermareo Davidson - Alexis Ajinca
SF: Gerald Wallace - Adam Morrison - Jared Dudley
SG: Jason Richardson - Matt Carroll
PG: Raymond Felton - D.J. Augustin - Shannon Brown

I'm not really sure where we go next with this, but I'm sure psyched for the upcoming season. There's gonna be a whole new level of basketball in Charlotte.

Livingston On Verge Of Deal With Heat

Former high lottery pick Shaun Livingston is on the verge of signing a contract with the Miami Heat, according to a report in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

It is believed that Livingston will meet with the Heat on Friday where he will sign a contract. Agent Henry Thomas said earlier this week that Livingston was "leaning toward Miami."

The move may mean more moves are on the horizon for the Heat, with Pat Riley trying to keep his ball club away from the luxury tax. According to the report Miami may try to trade away Daequan Cook or Dorell Wright for nothing in return.

Sidelined since a devastating knee injury in the middle of the 2006-07 season, the 6-foot-7 playmaker was not retained as a free agent this summer by the Clippers, who drafted him directly out of high school with the No. 4 overall selection in 2004.
    Hello!!!

    Edit:

Shoulda thought twice about that "nothing"...which we can't do; no capspace.

Slam also reminded me that Cook isn't a PG. I have always been somewhat fascinated by Wright...but if Riley is ready to give up on him at this stage then there'd be doubts there too.

I would love to get Wright........if we didn't already have a zillion SF's on the roster.

Make a play for DJ Strawberry as the 3rd string, big PG/lock down defending wing I say!!

You can never have too many DJ's on a team!!

I say we make a move for Leon Powe seeing that the Celts have to many players under contract and they might let him go since they have Big Baby to bang. They really need a roster spot. Someone has to be cut off the team. He doesn't have to much of a outside jumper but he is a horse on the boards.

I think Shannon Brown will be used for the 3rd point guard. He is a bigger, Eric Snow type point but just more athletic.

Is Houston looking to shop DJ? if so I'd be all for picking him up for cheap using that 2nd round pick we got from OKC maybe.

With us forcing their hand with Landry, they are over the lux tax limit and they already have Francis, Alston and Brooks on the roster.

I think if we dangled that 2nd round pick it might be enough for them to bite.

We have a second round from NOH, haven't we? If they are selling him cheap it could be sufficient.
