you know I'll be there. rocking the rooftop (aka getting sloppy drunk and screaming at Sam Vincent. And yes i know he wont be there, but i'm still gonna chant "Fire Sam Vincent" just to make sure it sticks.)
The ticket office has been absolutely ridiculous this season thus far: first I call and they won't even tell me the on-sale date for single-game tickets and I had to email Michael Thompson to get that information. Then yesterday I walk down to the Arena to get tickets for opening night...I was one of 15 people in line with only ONE of the ticket windows open. It took me almost 45 minutes to get my tickets for just one game! And then to top it off, once they finally opened another window and I went up to ask for opening night, the guy thought it was the Hawks game. I was like "NO, it's against the Heat."

I will be there as well, just snatched up some tickets for me, my brother and brother in law. Can't wait to get there but as of tonight we just got creamed by the Magic. Hope things change.
GeezOnly thing I can say is at least you have a ticket to get in. Supposedly the printer they use to print season tickets had its workers go on strike, so the business, which prints STs for 9 other teams the email said, is in limbo. They say they're either going to wait for the situation to resolve, find another company, or print them themselves, but we will get our tix in time for the season. What a strange little franchise we root for, right? That said, Michael "Gets things done" Thompson is the damn man; and my ST person, Jessica, is nice as hell. Still, it just seems this franchise can't buy a break...I mean, a printing house whose workers go on strike delaying getting our STs? That's just some shitty luck for a franchise that needs luck, but of the other variety...
"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13
That's hilarious!
Just got a call from a ticket rep and she said that from now until opening night you can get upper level tickets...not the absolute worst seats but "first come first served"...for 10 bucks each if you buy them in groups of 10 or more.

I was told by my ticket rep that I'll have my tickets in hand a week from this coming Monday or Tuesday.
