I agree. Ammo is the answer. He is the truth. We need 8 more Ammo's.
I also think that a line up that includes Hammer, Ammo and McMay would be sweet.
Be even better if we could get Primoz back to play the 5 and maybe Burleson at the point?
This team is good on D but our offense is terrible. Nobody looks like they have any confidence. The only player with much moxy is Morrison it is clear this team needs minutes from him. We need some plan to get the ball to players in the right places and it can't be everybody stands around and one player runs through the middle around some screens so he can recieve a pass on the perrimiter. Gerald Wallace and Jason Richardson should not be inicating the offense from the perimiter unless it is an clearout type issolation play where they have room to work and see the whole court. Morrison needs to be moving around at all times to be a distraction if nothing else. Felton DJ and Morrison are the only ones that need to be dribbling around trying to create. Gerald Wallace and Jason Richardson need to recieve the ball on cuts to the basket and on post up and backdoor plays. We need to have more confidence in our shooting ability and not be walking on egg shells just because LB doesn't like quick jumpers. If we can't hit those jumpers we can't space the floor for the backdoor cuts for Wallace and Richardson. Oak needs to take more than three shots. May needs to take more than two and we need to try to go through him on the block some. May and Morrison need to be on the court at the same time with Matt Carroll. Guys need to relax and play and continue to shoot and space the floor better. Sombody needs to step up.

i got another post out there following Ammos number..
I like what I've seen so far from him...I really think he will be key for us as he begins to feel more comfortable.
my only criticism is that I don't feel comfortable with his ball handling, he made some poor passing decisions yesterday, and I haven't seen any intensity from him.
Still though, I think he is a keeper.
There is no doubt that Adam Morrison should play more for the Bobcats. If this preseason hasn't completely proven his value, I don't know what will.
Giving AMMO more minutes means we don't have to play Wallace as much, thus saving him for the playoffs or better yet available to trade for a PF.
We don't really need to play Dudley at all which is probably for the best considering his poor athleticism.
I trust LB. I expect AMMO's defense will improve exponentially as his knee gets stronger.
Bobcats Redemption?
You know, word is that MJ was wanting Brook Lopez but LB talked him out of it and into DJ. DJ may turn out good, but MJ has caught a lot of crap for his Drafts. Reading up, it appears Brook Lopez is starting to prove himself a hell of a catch by the Nets. If history proves Lopez to be as good as he seems to be playing, and DJ stays Ray's backup, that UNC bond b/t MJ and LB will be tested. The success or failure of this draft will continue to be a part of MJ's legacy. And right now, Brook Lopez would look pretty good on that front line with Okafor scoring, grabbing rebounds and playing defense. We will have to watch and compare DJ and Lopez as the season progresses.

You know why I think MJ wanted Lopez? He was planning on moving Mek. After the draft (I think it was after) MJ was asked about negotiations with Mek, and he sounded like he was kind of pissed that Mek wouldn't agree to a deal the previous summer.
Funny, I just read this linked off another board:
Time to trade a jump-shooter? - Bonnell
Notice Rick's comment a few posts down:
Just my guess o'course on MJ's intentions. So you're saying they didn't need another point guard? It's that much harder to find a point than it is to find a power forward. For all the lather about taking Augustin over Brook Lopez, plenty of scouts (not Bobcats scouts, scouts around the league) told me Lopez and Okafor would have struggled to play together because neither can guard an athletic power forward out along the perimeter.

This is a happy day for an Ammo-fan lol
Everybody jumping on his bandwagon all of a sudden......at least I am not the only one anymore!!!!!

You know Spectre, you may be right about that re: Okafor. I hadn't thought of that. But it would also have allowed them to experiment w/ Lopez at C and Okafor playing that odd PF/C combo. Anyway, didn't happen.
joking right? his defense was and still is terrible before and after knee problems. Further, he is probably the slowest guy in the nba under 7 ft and he also is one of the wiryiest. We played him this preseason to try and prove he has some decent value when we ship him out (so I continue to pray).
I dont understand how people can think he is good. Sure he can make shots (occasionally) but there are many more facets to basketball then shooting floaters and threes
