On leaving college early for the NBA
· “I didn’t really think about it until about five minutes after we lost to Kansas because that was the first time anybody asked me about it. One of the first reporters who came in the locker room said ‘Are you going to the league?’ I didn’t even know what to answer, so immediately I said ‘No’ just thinking that’s what I was going to do, just looking forward to next season.” – Stephen Curry
On Stephen’s new-found celebrity status
· “After {Davidson} lost to Kansas, we came back to Charlotte and went to a Bobcats’ game. We walked in and security said ‘Do you think you’ll need some help?’ And I said ‘No, he comes to games with me all the time.’ Well, we needed help. We needed help.” – Dell Curry
On how his relationship with his father influenced his decision to attend Davidson College
· “That’s why I wanted to stay close to home, just so I could be around him.” – Stephen Curry
