Well, tough loss guys. We had the ball in the hands of the right player at the end but it just didn't go down.
6 game homestand coming up.

RIP Michael Jackson & Steve McNair

From the box score, it looks like we just lost because of hot NY shooting. We out rebounded them, had less TOs, had more steals, and shot more fgs than they did, hitting at a similar clip. They just took twice as many 3s as us and made almost half of them.
I didn't see the game, so I can't say what was right and wrong. But the starting unit was either even or had a positive +/-. Felton shot really well tonight: 9/16, with no 3 point attempts. Okafor looked great, save the 6 TOs. Again, all this is based on stats, as I didn't see the game.
Looks like we just lost because of hot outside shooting. Even though we hit .500 of our 3 point attempts, the hit too many at a slightly lesser rate.
SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
J-Rich and (until late in the 4th) Gerald did not have an imprint on this game at all. It looks like we are going to be tough to beat at home. Proud of how the guys fought back tonight. Ray & Oak played pretty well tonight.
6 Players In Double Digits. One Of Our Better Games, And We Still Lost To A Team We Thought We Were Better Than At The Start Of The Season. Not A Good Sign. We Need To Win Games We Play This Well, Especially Against Teams We Think We Should Beat. Just A Bad Sign In My Book.
Like dnb, I didn't see the game since I was working, but juding from the boxscore, i agree, there's NO WAY we should lose a game with the numbers our guys put up. Looks like there were too many turnovers, but then again, every starter had 3 steals just about, so that looked to negate it.
Not sure what to take from this. I'm upset we lost a winable game, but at least it was a road game, so I'm not too pissed. Still, it's just getting old; the inconsistency, the excuses, the losses. If this team has any fight in them, Friday night will be at least a contest, and hopefully a shocking win. Then again, if they get beat by 30, I'll still be a fan; it's just not good because I'm starting to get numb to the losses anymore: I expect them, and they come, and I move on to the next one...![]()
