    Default Larry Brown's lineups

    This is really killing me...

But both in the NO and the Toronto game LB went for this line up: Augustin, Felton, Richardson, Wallace, Okafor.

Why have Felton in the SG ?

    1) Felton is not a SG. He is not a shooter and he has never played SG on a consistent basis for the last six years. In college he was a pass first, shoot second PG. Why put him in a position he is not used to?

    2) This lineup has not been successful. We struggled against Toronto with this lineup (this is when Toronto went ahead and sealed the win in the 4th quarter) and I remember in the NO our offense output dropped

I think Larry Brown is being really stubborn for some reason and continues to pursue this line up even though it is not bringing us any apparent benefit. I can't really figure out the purpose other than proving that we need a big guy or that we can do away with Felton.

I think Brown is showing how much he thinks we need a big . He all so seems to be wanting to give Augustin all the playing time he can. Though Augustin hasn't hurt the team at all being a rookie. I have a feeling the torch will be passed be for the trade deadline from Felton to Augustin.
Another thing if you notice Brown only trys that small line up if he thinks it wont kill us match up wize. It worked some what in the Hornets game but not at all in the game yesterday.
Or Larrys just experminting on what works and what don't. Larry stated about two weeks ago a rotation is all most impossable with his lack of size.

I think in the last couple of games LB brought Felton in for shooting as Swish has been off big time. If he was "on" I doubt we'd be seeing the two PGs as much as we have.

felton has been shooting lights out the pass few days and thats why he has been getting the pt at SG...also Augustin has been playing well plus LB has been trying to get him PT....so there you have a two pg line up....where else did u want LB to go carroll has been off...jrich was off...at least felton could hit a open jumper

Adam and Matt need more PT together. They work well together.

Carroll is a good player on a good team. He is a terrible player on a bad team. If you put him on a good team where his only role is to come in and make threes, then he will perform well.

I trust Larry and everythng he means to our team. I don't think we should worry about who he puts out there because I'm sure he has a reason for it. ILBIT

I think LB is simply putting his best 5 players on the court. Unlike last year when one of those 5 was Jeff McInnis; this year its DJ.

He's been pretty selective with the 2 PG offense; so I've had no problem with it for now.

Any combo including Matt, DJ, Ray or Ammo in lieu of JRich is risky IMO. I've always thought they need to emphasize JRich and assure he was integral to every game. As for rotations....ILBIT. I've really liked the players usage so far.
