I don't think it's the players specifically I just think the MIX of players we have don't fit as a team. There is a team for Crash, Ray, Ammo, Matt, etc but when you have a team like this its hard to see through the fog.
not sure why you think this is a bad thread but my overall comment is this-it all now falls on the players and we arent winning. it has nothing to do with any coaching, FO or arena or being expansion. there are no excuses as we are now in year 5.
the players are to blame, lets implode the team and see what other pieces we can get.

as a general statement of your frustrations, i understand. As a legitimate solution or if you think it's possible, this is absolutely impossible and ridiculous. I am pissed too, believe me. There has never been a team to "implode" in mid-season and get anything valuble back in trade. There are good players here. 2 guys were 20 ppg guys last year. one was a part time pg and still finished top 10 in assists per game. we have a center who is a legit 12/12/3blk guy who is having a down year. at least 3 guys were some kind of player of the year in NCAA. wait lets go through that. 2 that were at least a share of the player of the year. 2 cousey award winners. one MOP of the tourney. None of them have turned into great NBA players. 2 of these guys could be all-stars. One was Rookie of the Year. we have some untradeable contracts. Not the players fault for taking the money.
Not a FO or coaching issue? These guys have had 3 coaches in 3 years! One guy thought that McInnis was a viable starting PG. We're 12 games in to a new season with a new coach. I know it's hard but jeeze be reasonable and cheer for these guys. Not saying by any means don't voice your frustrations by all means do. But saying "put everyone on the trading block" makes no sense and i honestly think it's not fair to the players we have. propose trades, come up with ideas, run it through trade machine or salary checker or whatever it is but it's mean to say get rid of everyone, it's all their fault. Unless you're talking about Sean May, it is his fault.
Now i'm going to go check my facts up there.
Edit: Gerald averaged 19.4 over 62 games. Okafor for his career (including this year) is 14.1/10.8/1.9. (Morrison-Naismith, Okafor-Naismith, Ray-Cousey, DJ-Cousey, May-MOP) all-stars remains to be seen

OK we have so many trade threads so i thought i would just put this trade idea hear.
Guys i must be getting despret and reaching for straws. Because i would do this just because of watching Mek playing the p/f spot the last two games.
In Curry from NY they get to dump thair last contract. Two more years at a little over 10 milion a year. Hes got tons of ability and i think would work next to Mek . At least help on the boards and 12 ppg or better.
Out,,, May a expiring contract this year whitch frees up space for NY in the James stakes
Nothing lost on out part thair.
out,,, Carroll has four years left but is a decreasing contract. With NY geting the bargain years.
Morrison and Carroll duplicate and we need to get rid of one . I perfer to let Carroll go not much lost thair either.
For our last roster spot we sign a athlatic Ewing JR. who can play the two three or four . Personaly i think can become a starting two or three in the next year or two .
Felton for now , DJ14 S Brown
Rich , Morrison,
Wallace, Dudley, Ewing
Mek, Hollins, Jones
Curry , Alexas, Nazz
We become competive much bigger . More balanced. If Curry worked out we might have a top center for the next six years or so . Its a gamble but Nothing lost . With out Curry at all we become a better team because people knowing thair roles.
Morrison , Dudley Mek, Alexas all knowing thair roles.
Thoughts on this......
as a knicks fan i can attest that curry does zero for our rebounding. to me, he's what sean may would've been talent-wise, but without any passion and a lot more selfish. curry is one-dimensional and is a cancer to a team...... stay away. david lee is the guy we need to target on the knicks, if any.
With Sean May, that would have to be one HUGE block
My point of the thread really is to say, we still arent doing well. It is now on the players, not the FO or the coaching. last years excuse was we didnt have the coaching staff. Now, we have a HOF coach and we arent getting it done. I cheer my butt of for the cats and will continue to do so regardless, but i think we need to look at changing around our core. I dont see an issue with making some big movement, obviously if we can get good value out of them. Now, it is the players issue and not coaching. They are 10 games into the season and the coach calls them out for no effort? That is pretty ridiculous so early in the season.
Now if only we could figure out how to get rid of May....
Reason i think we do this ,
1st We get rid of May . I doudt many players could be worse . If Curry is we just ban him from the games. But i think Curry has been put in his place by being deactivated. And is ready to play?
2nd We give up Corroll . This helps Morrison , defnds his role and gives him confidence.
If Curry could start witch i think he has more than enough ability . It saves Currys carer. Mek has proven he boards better , plays better defence . blocks better, and scores better . with just any big beside him .
So im saying give Curry a shot , We take a slim chance, Very low risk with very high reward.
It seems nost of our other offers has falen through. This is a much better deal than the Nazz deal. In the Nazz deal Herrmann could play . We all so picked up three years in that too.
only way i would EVER EVER trade for curry is one the season is total loss..2 they take may and 3 we get david lee in turn....even after all that i still dont think i would be ok with it....he is just that bad....you get paid to play basketball how hard is it to be in shape?
