Default WTF??? Kaman for J-Rich being discussed!?!?

Found it at the bottom of the article regarding the anticipated completion of the Randolph/Collins - Mobley/Thomas deal... I believe it. There's always some truth to rumors somewhere along the way. Of course the Clips are going to deny dangling Kaman out there until they know they are getting something back... All I have to say is WOW.

I would be very surprised if they let j-rich go for kaman.. In terms of star power its more of a down grade for us BUT who knows.. If ever, LA clips will be pretty solid and will really contend for a playoff spot.

    C-Camby
    PF-Randolph
    SF-Thornton
    SG-J-Rich
    PG-B. "Diddy" Davis

That starting 5 will contend against the best in the league i tell you.. All-Star Caliber. WOW

I'd like to add another WOW for such a ridiculous thought by an expert. This trade makes Cllippers a contender, while we suck worse.

And as Marvel said, Richardson for Kaman doesn't work straight. Clippers need to add a small filler. I don't know but maybe Kaman+Gordon may be considered.

I'd actually consider it...DJ & Felton have had some chemistry together, and while being in the starting line-up they have pushed one another very well....I'd Want Eric Gordan & Kaman for JRich, but I'd consider it...Kaman would give us the offensive center we don't have, Gordan plays pretty well when not playing, but DJ & Felton have played very well together...

    DJ (S. Brown)
    Felton (Gordan, Carroll)
    Wallace (Morrison, Dudley)
Okafor (Jones, (I also think Duds, & Lexy plays here too)
    Kaman (Nazr, Alexis, Hollins)

So I'd consider it, but not sure I'd go complete through with...but you've seen what we are now, you've seenw what our PF/C are not...we have to make changes, sometimes it gotta be big...

Not sure if the FO is that convinced the DJ and Ray combo together is THAT successful, but perhaps. Still, Kaman is a quality Big, but J-Rich straight up is not fair. Throw in a
2009 1st or another quality player, and it gets closer.

Well, I don't eant to get ripped apart from saying this but I would LOVE for a deal of J-Rich for Kaman and Gordon to go down. We would be giving up a small for a big, but the talent level is pretty close between those two players overall. I highly doubt that the LAC would give up Gordon now, but everybody says it's about winning now. Just ask Boston.

That trade works too, Kaman + Gordon for Richardson.

Well good to see I'm not the only one not minding a trade to go down, if Gordan wasn't given, even a 1st rounder or two would be ideal for me....JRich is a great scorer and I know he's a fan favorite, but I think we have to make a move, it may not look that great to everyone, but it would definitely improve our center position a whole lot....I don't think the DJ/Felton combo is amazing, but I think its done one hell of a job as of late, and if it bring us a quality starting big man, something we desparately need plus Gordan and/or a first rounder, I'm willing to take it

I believe that the C position is our true need. Okafor has been playing better at the 4 and I don't believe that Jinx is a C in this league, rather he is a long PF. With Kaman and EO50 down low our D would be much improved as well as our O. My favorite trade by far for the Bobcats.
