At this point (and because JRich was hurt) I'd have to go with Gerald since he has been more consistent...even in games when he has not put up lots of points he has made an impact on the defensive end...

Arguments can be made in both camps, but looking at the results:

Game High Scorers (record in those games)
    Gerald Wallace: 5 (1-4)
Jason Richardson: 3 (1-2) (Shared lead with Felton in a win)
    Raymond Felton: 4 (3-1)
    DJ Augustin: 4 (1-3)
    Shannon Brown: 1 (0-1)

    But...
The most mercurial of the scorers on the team has been Raymond Felton. In the team's five wins, he's shooting a whopping 60 percent from the field ( 35-58 ). In the team's eleven losses, he's shot only 31 percent ( 42-128 ).

so that should tell you, when he shoots poorly (like he usually does) he is keeping the team from winning. time to go

Before making such claims, why not try and check the shooting percentages of his teammates, because, from what I've gathered while browsin' through the box scores, it's usually the bench that fails to contribute in the games the Cats lost with game vs Dallas being the exception (barring D.J. due to to his posting big minutes).

Of course it's true...who else could it be? Crash has struggled thru most of the games, and he said himself that the trade talk was distracting him. Swish has missed a majority of the games and Mek still can't shoot.

Felton has become an even better defender and he's become more consious of rebounding the ball.

I do expect Crash and Swish to overtake him though.

Talk about knee jerk. The kid played 90 minutes over 2 nights and some here are ready to throw him on the trash heap.

I just find it sad that the MVP of our team could be the, at best, 4th best player, and maybe the 5th. As far as talent, he is behind J-Rich, Crash, and DJ. He may be behind Okafor, but I am not saying that myself at this time.

That's your perogative. Crash has had management screwing with his head and Swish has had a procedure on his knee. Regardless, Felton works his ass off trying to do everything he can to help this team win.

But hey, ignore the rebounds and the steals...the great defense against guys bigger and more athletic than he is. He shot like crap last night, that's ALL that matters. Not like anyone else on this team has done that.

Agree with Spectre , Damn Felton has more hustle than any one on the team .
But a lot of people act as if hes trash because of a bad shooting game. Last night in post game BROWN said Swish is real far behind . I don't see thread after thread about Swish.
Are you guys saying Larry Brown can't coach . He said in the last post game he feels better with the two ball handlers than Swish and one ball handler in the game.
Yes Felton had one bad game and a lot of you guys are ready to through him to the wolfs.
Hammer and Morrison played bad two should we just cut them ? Any body knows Morrison and the Hammer can shoot the ball . The shoots are just not falling right now.
Should we cut Mek too . He didn't get 20 boards or even ten boards last game. He hardly ever scores over 10 ppg either . Should we just cut him? What was Wallace last game 2 for 16 . I guess we should cut him too.
Lets just cut the whole team except the rookies . Because they have a reason to suck in some games they rookies.
All the necetive talk after just one bad game just gets to me somtime. This team is geting better with what it has now. What is it going to take to give our players credit. 31 points and a win against a more experianced team didn't even last one game. WOW
