How can you say that, tonight of all nights?

There's no way you can justify losing Felton would make the team better without receiving something significant in return. Augustine is good, but we'd be terrible if we relied on him every day right now.

    Cool

^I'm pretty sure Matt hates Felts...

Hopefully this is just another addition to the cycle of never ending "odd man out" Cats that we read about on the net every other day.

Glad to be back BTW my PC was messed up all last week ended up getting a new lap top on sale Sunday though from Best buy.

Don't know anything about that one, but I heard the Philsophers were thinking of trading John Locke and Kenneth Burke to the Mathematicians for Archimedes and the number 3. As much as we're indebeted as a country to Locke, and Burke as a literary theorist, that's a steal for the Philosophers!

How can you side with the Philosophers? Archimedes is well pas his prime, and by virtue of being from Syracuse he loves zone coverage, leading to constant defensive 3-seconds calls. 3, whose best success came with Fibonacci, has also been a notorious distraction. His connections with the Hitler's Reich, The French Revolution, and Mussolini's Way will mean continuous bad coverage for the team. As talented and versatile as 3 is, it's hardly worth the risk.

    This is beautiful stuff.

By the way, is the bold portion in your quote above an intended pun, or one that occurred by happenstance?

    Pas du tout.

    how about this...

we trade voltaire, and ralph waldo emerson's expring contract to the thunder for frank L baum and catherine de medici

baum is a good point guard, always passing his prose, and nobody is certain just where he may dribble it

catherine de medici is pretty hawt and she births pretty good family members

As a wise waitress once said, "Hang on [to], Voltaire." Seeing him go, would represent a dimming of the Cats future.

I'd hate to see Emerson, one of the great trash talkers (and inventor of the phrase, "Ball Don't Lie") go, but every sweet has it's sour, and this trade could facilitate us getting a better big man.

If we added Baum, the trade for Curry remains no longer a bad move, as long as Baum can give Curry a heart.

Unfortunately, adding Cat (as her friends called her) would spell the end of the DJ and Raymond working well together. Wherever she goes, there's bound to be unrest and I suspect the PGs would begin feuding. Also, here sons were way overrated in pre-draft camps. They were the Todd Marinoviches (sorry for the cross-sport analogy) of their time. Driven by m(p)aternal pressure, they never succeeded at the highest level.

To be candide, I don't like this trade. Emerson's worth transcends his on-court performance.
