Default The difference maker in tonight's game

It wasn't necessarily one player..but it was the FTs... 27-33 FTs after having only 11 in the first half...not only that, but compare it to Thunder's 18-28 and those 9 pts were the difference between winning or losing against a team that shot 55% FG and 64% 3-Pts

You can't argue tht LB has definitely had an positive effect on the team so far..FTs while they won't be highlights on TV are crucial for us to continue winning games

Another difference maker..obviously Mek, when he's having big games, we are scoring over 90 pts..gotta keep going to him for high % shots..i can't wait for May to continue getting better, I hope that this is the start of a trend

We've said it about Crash for years and Swish when we got him. If those two can be 80% ft shooters it makes them a million times more dangerous.

    Nothing like easy points.

Those two have improved out of sight at the line. It's now just a matter of EO50 joining the party on a full time basis.

I agree free throws are very important to us and plus it makes the other teams players have to play differently as they get too many fouls... keep driving into the paint guys and stop with all the long range shots....

I realize the last two wins have been against bad teams but this is exactly what we have to do...beat bad teams...I still think we can get to .500 over the next month if we maintain consistency...great point about our FTs because that was one of the things that had me shaking my head at the Boston game...missed FTs...great win even if it is against a not particularly good team

They are 70% (J-Rich) and 67% (Crash) for their careers, so not a million times more, just like 7 - 10% better, which is awesome. I'm picking, but seriously, this would be huge. Basically i'm going to say, big assumption, you make a higher % of your shots, you get to the line more, because you sort of drive more and make and take the contact, right? So this could be additionaly 6 or 8 points per for each guy? Assuming a lot but you get my point i think.

Greater percentage of points coming from drives is directly proportional to a greater chance of getting nastily injured, so, it's a double-edged, ...hamburger !?

Not all things can be measured in statistics.

If they were 80% ft shooters they would be a million times more dangerous.

This is going to be an interesting trend to watch as the season progresses. Teams are going to (and should) start to pack it in on us and force us to shoot from outside. I think that is where May can help us. He seems to be the most confident shooting the 15-18ft jumper. I guess Felton is in that category too.

I hope we can keep getting to the lane and make our FTs.
