Too many times he just makes decisions which leaves him trying to do more than he has the talent to do.
I'm not sure what the announcing was like, but I don't think you would have thought that had you seen it. Felton was largely playing in the corner off the ball in the 4th. When he shot the ball, he was usually open for a decent shot. Most of the time, he was looking to pass.

He had a couple of bad plays, but they seemed more flukes (the rebound lost out of bounds) than poor decisions. He was great on the defensive end, picking up whoever he needed to. He was boxing out and covering bigs on a few plays, and holding his own at that.

Our guards were generally very strong. Emeka was fantastic. We just needed more rebounds.

This game was lost by Milwaukee racking up offensive rebounds, nothing more, nothing less.

I think assessing games without being able to see them has got to be beyond difficult. The online play by play doesn't give you context. And much of the Bobcat commentary on TV and radio seems to have a script that they frame events under.

If a person is fully dependent on either of these for their game analysis, they are at a disadvantage (not through their own fault).

Yup. We got destroyed on the offensive glass and that's what did us in in the end. I mean they had seven extra possessions basically.

Jesus Ohara...you're starting to look like a hater. You bitched about Felton the last game in the 4th when he actually went .500 in the last 6 minutes and now last night? The ONLY thing I remember him messing up on in the 4th is fumbling a rebound out of bounds...THATS IT.

IMO he played a pretty stellar game; he fed Mek, his shot a great rate AND he guarded Redd for most of the game.

What the hell does he have to do?

Crash's game was off. If he'd have had a normal night we'd have won. If they hadn't outrebounded us by 14 we'd have won.

Yeah, the only reason I didn't comment on Wallace is that he was doing a lot of other beneficial things other than scoring. He was also playing D on much larger players for a good portion of the night. His shot was bad, but thought the rest of his game was o.k.

At any rate, now I understand.

May couldn't have played much worse than naz tonight and that goes for everyone else on the bench to. I want to see some more AA especially if Naz is gonna be trash

Oh yah, he did. Didn't mean to discount his other efforts, but we look for his scoring tho because normally he's our best, most aggressive slasher/finisher and we really need his points.

Confidence in your shot is a bigtime thing. I think he's struggling with it somewhat and (as Bonnell's earlier mentioned) so if Felton.

On a positive note...how's about our big guy! He's ran a string together, and last night was against no slouch in Bogut. If he can start being more aggressive like that then he's well worth that contract.

Bonnell already wrote about Felton and Okafor developing chemistry, but that was before last night. The first quarter, they were sensational together. That was one of the few things I didn't understand: why didn't we go back to the Felton pick and roll more in the second half, especially in the fourth?

Spectre, you are sounding more and more like a Felton apologist. I am just looking at his play with a more critical eye than you, that's all. Maybe the truth about his game is somewhere in the middle.
