if you look at felton's stats , his shot is not terrible... the issue is the inconsistency

there are many other intangibles that felton brings right now that make him the starter.. more experience, hard work, etc.

Basically although I've been more impressed with his play this year than I've been dissapointed especially recently.

AI is a sg.... what AI is not is a pg....

In philly he had snow at point....
Denver tired to play him at pg - did not work....
Detroit tried to play him at pg - is not working.....

maybe im just misreading your point...

DJ needs to come off the bench. Not because I don't like him, but he's a rookie and his minutes have to be monitored to avoid hitting the wall.

Besides... small backcourts don't win championships.

According to this article, it looks like DJ and Felton are the starters at the 1/2 and Bell will come off the bench....which is kinda what I figured. The DJ/Felton combo worked very well when J-Rich was out and probably that success helped the Bobcats be more comfortable with this trade......

That article is horse manure. Bell won't be coming off the bench to spell Raymond at the 2 as long as Larry is coaching this team. Just last night he said how apprehensive he is to start Raymond and DJ together because if one gets in foul trouble early, the PG rotation is screwed for the rest of the game.

Bell is starting for the Bobcats. DJ, for the meanwhile, is the 6th man.

i would assume that Bell goes ahead of Felton...but you forget that we have singletary too. and i forget who had the nice find of video where singletary practiced with us. Surely LB knows that singletary is or is not capable of doing... you can't discard seeing singletary play minutes at PG

also..if carroll doesn't get shipped out..much to my dismay, i have to wonder if he would get any minutes ahead of shannon brown...we haven't really heard anything from LB regarding carroll....all he's ever said is that carroll & ammo are the same type player (which i disagree)

    Felton/Bell at the 2 and DJ/Singletary at the 1.

I think this trade was done for 3 things:
    1. to get Diaw (and sit May)
    2. open up DJ to get more time/experience
    3. to get Singletary as the back-up to DJ for next year.

Its crystal clear that the Bobcats don't see Felton being on this team next year. I think Singletary was swapped for the 2nd round pick to be the back-up PG....otherwise no need for Singletary with Felton/DJ/Brown already on the roster.
