i'm still surprised about jones...juwan has been a FA for a while and the talks with Arizona got serious about the bucks game...why even bother bringing him if all this was already going on
From yahoo team report....
"They decided to sign veteran power forward Juwan Howard Tuesday (it becomes official Friday)."

Short stay for Jones....

could be...just seems silly for FO to spend money on projects that last a few days.. just doesn't seem like good business practice, but ultimately who cares, it's not my money
I think it's a lot more common than you think. A lot of teams will give a guy a try for a month or two and then release him if he's not especially helpful, giving a shot to another guy who might contribute.
When you're in as bad shape as we have been at the 4, it's pretty understandable: you keep trying guys until one helps.
SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
lol why did we sign jones only to cut him like a week later for another guy we couldve signed in the first place(I Think...)

In the bobcats pregame show they mentioned juwan howard but they made it unclear as to whether we were considering signing him or had already signed him. Does anyone know?
We will be signing him tomorrow from what all the reports say Dwayne Jones is expected to be cut...
Good, I haven't seen anything special in Dwayne Jones so far. However, Jones is at least youthful whereas Howard has been in the league as long as i've been alive.
Juuuwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnn nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Howwwwwwwwwwarddddddddddddddddddddddddd!!!!
