Default For those of you thinking about going to see "The day the earth stood still"...

    Don't

I actually dozed off twice while watchng it at the theater yesterday. All of the best parts are in the 2 minute trailer, the other 90 minutes... Not so much.

    Ziggy,

When I saw the Simpsons movie, I actually spent the last hour of the movie wondering if it would be more worth my money to catch up on my sleep in a dark room.

Haven't thought much about The Day the Earth Stood Still. Don't think I will now.

Yeah, The Happening was jut a snuff film. Just what I wanted to spend money on, watching people kill themselves.

Maybe i wasn't expecting the same things as ya'll, But i liked the Happening and the Earth movie. I mean it's a movie, you knew from the previews what you were getting yourself into. Sorry for ya'll that paid money to see it... I watch everything online so i don't have them type of war stories.

I think the end of the world was implied in Point Break.

Thankfully, Special Agent Utah got his man before he could paddle his way to Tahiti and detonate the Brah Bomb.

The end of life movies are all Keanu Reeves can do now. He wasn't believable in any other role he's had. Atleast he's bearable in these type movies because he doesn't have to say as much.
