    Default Bobcats Arena

How does everyone like this new arena? I was there last year for the ACC Tourney and i was very impressed with it. I was upset that the team store was not open, but i guess i understand that. Also,I was in Charlotte earlier this year for the ECU/VT football game too and it was also closed when i went by. I wanted some Bobcats gear bad. Anyway, back on subject. I know there is alot of talk about how the arena was funded, etc. but aside from that, how does it stack up to the other arenas around the league?

I really like it. I've sat almost everywhere in the arena, and I don't think there's a really bad seat in the house. I'm pretty sure beers cost $8 everywhere, but that might be one of my complaints.

EDIT: That said, none of my tax money went to build it, but I wouldn't have minded if it had.

Maybe i dont see it as that big of a problem because i dont live there, but if i lived close enough to be able to go to the games, i would love it. I would have season tickets and go whenever possible. i just love the environment of being at the games, any games. I was at ECU/Wake Forest last night and even though we got blown out in the 2nd half, it was so much fun just to be there. i went to my high school a few weeks ago and watched a game. Its just an enjoyable activity for me.

I totally agree. If I lived in Charlotte, I'd be all over some season tickets.
