He looks lost with his back to the basket. His post up move is to half turn then while he is twisted in the air, throw the ball at the basket and hope like hell!
Most of the time Singletary was not bringing up the ball, but set up as an outside shooter. Did not think he was selfish, and had 0 turnovers - played a strong game!
Singletary isn't a "True" point guard... He is actually built and plays in a similar manner to the way Iverson did in college...which frankly is one of the reasons I think brown liked him so much... He played wicked today for someone who has been tossed around and drafted as low as he was...Lexy on the other hand leaves alot to be desired, even more so than his first few games it appears... He needs 10+ MPG to get developed...and its hard to find with 15 on the roster...
which begs the questions why not send him to the NBDL?
i guess LB REALLY wants to be the one molding him..and maybe he's worried that if he is sent to the NBDL he might develop bad habits
A hair off topic here, but due to our astounding win last night, i feel compelled to be the first to say that the Celtics green slide continues as they lose to the red rockets at home... WOOT celtics not #1
The guys didn't have it physically and I can't say that I am all that shocked. Cleveland at home, off a crab dribbling loss, while we went to OT to beat the defending champs is apples to oranges, especially when we travel and play the game in a less than 20 hour span.
I think the Cavs simply overmatch / overwhelm us. Unfortunately the Cats players and probably even the coaches know it. Not an excuse, in fact its inexcusable I think.
Varejao/Wallace are too big and Varejao too active...and that's without Ilguaskas. LBJ can score ANYTIME HE WISHES against us.
What kills me though is how Boobie always goes off on us as well, but I spose that's secondary.
EVERYBODY STAAAANNNND UPPPP FOR YOUR BOBCATSSSSSSS!!!! AND SHOW US YOUR VIC CARD!!!!!!
(thanks for the inspiration Dnbman)
Unfortunately yesterday's Celtics game was the 1st game I missed this season either live or on tv....ha! I was in an Atlanta hotel :P
I've been pondering alot lately that I think the constant stream of promotions at the games is literally ruining my love of live basketball. Just ruining it. I guess I'm just no fun at parties
