Would this ever be nice. This kid is a Top 5 talent. If somehow slips to #12, I'd jump for joy. Find another way to get our SG, but we cant let this guy by us if a miracle happens and he's there at #12.

I can't see him possibly slipping to us...but it would really make up for some other drafts if he does...agree he is a talent and will be a starter sooner rather than later...and we have the two seconds to trade back into the first for a SG...would be nice...

see these are all rumors, i think that we will get a guy like hill. someone will drop and hill might be that guy. derozan, evans, or curry could fall. there is always one screw up or two on draft night. We are in a great location to draft a need without sacrificing talent. if no one falls we will still get a great player, especially with brown drafting. i cant wait for the draft

Although he would be extremely hard to pass on I think SG depth should be priority number 1 gotta get Bell some help & there should be plenty available at 12.

Not to mention what if Lexy pans out sooner rather than later.

I think in AAs case later...or maybe never...I posted early last season that he should go to the Dleague but he was not sent...he needs real work/playing time and now LB is calling him out...not a good sign if he is a coaching problem...we need a good young-athletic big and Hill will only get better with good coaching...take the two seconds and trade back in for a SG...but don't pass on Hill if he is there...

I totally agree. If he's there, you cant pass on him.

I'll give Lex the benefit due to being a Rook & Brown saying himself that he should have been in the NBDL earlier I'm not ready to give up on him just yet. Correct me if I'm wrong he put up solid #'s in the D right?

Jordan Hill is being overrated due to the 09 class having weak front court players plus he reminds me of Tyrus Thomas more so than CB4 who he has been compared too. We could possibly move back up but there is no guarantee someone solid (TWill, Ellington, Hendo or Teague) will fall I rather just take the best SG available at 12 Hill's not worth the risk imho.

I never advocated "moving up"...I said we should not pass on him if he is there at #12...we need a back-up SG that we can get by trading our two 2nds...Budinger and Thornton are both options after #20...as far as AAs numbers...well...which ones...the fouls or what? Sometimes he was OK...most of the time (IMO) he looked very lost...

I said nothing about moving up for Hill either what I said was the risk is taking Hill at 12 & our SG depth still being a question mark. I'm not confident in taking a lower ranked SG prospect using the 2 2nd rounders considering how having no replacement for Bell's absence hurt us this year. T-Will or Henderson would not only solve that problem but they could replace Bell as starters.

As far as Lex I wish we had more to go off of like a full season stint in the D but just off of skills alone I like the fact that Lexy has the potential to spread the floor with his J over a strictly banger like Hill.
