I did the same thing for each prospect the last few years (dedicated a thread to each of them) and it seemed to work pretty well. Thought I would do it again this year.

A total and utter volume scorer. Shows a great knack for putting the ball in the hoop using long range shooting, soft floaters and bank shots. Really understands how to score the rock. Working on his PG skills you can see he is learning when to enforce himself onto the game and when to try and get others going.

Small and slight it's worrying how his build will stand up in the more powerful and bigger NBA. Questions marks over weather or not he is a PG or a SG.

Reminds me a little of Ben Gordon

sounds a lot like a player the Bobcats drafted a while back that me and you argue over every once in a while.

I really wouldn't mind the selection as I am the biggest Dell Curry fan ever and having his son would be such nice symmetry for me. Hokies (college team) to Hornets and Davidson (hometown area) to Bobcats. I mean its really perfect.

But to be honest I think we should stay away if we are a high lottery pick. If we are around 8-14 it wouldn't be the worst idea but its still a gamble.

    Default Stephen Curry

I was at the Appalachian vs. Davidson game last night. It was my first time seeing Curry in person and i have to say he wasn't that impressive. I know he played limited minutes, but he didn't stay on the floor more than five game minutes at a time. I know foul trouble was issue for him, but he never played extended minutes. I thought maybe his asthma was acting up this high up in the mountains.

His defense was never really tested and he never broke down anyone off the dribble. I have to say that he can shoot better than anyone I have seen, but last night he looked more like Redick in college than Iverson. He just ran through three picks before spotting up for three. I know it is just one game but i didn't like what I saw in terms of possibly drafting him.

Yeah I agree, he would be good at 10-15, but there would likely be better choices at 1-9.

I know - which is a big red light IMO. Not sure I could handle drafting another college star who's transition to the NBA is questionable!!

Curry has some advantages though. He can play some point, he is quick and his D isn't too bad. It's not like he is totally 1 dimensional.

Like you, if we are picking around the middle of the 1st round I'd take him, but I would be very against taking him above pick #14 (depending of course who the other options were).

He's definitely NOT my favorite guy in the draft. I have him mid to late lottery... in a weak draft.

We have bad history with questionable prospects. For that exact reason, I'll pass on him unless we really don't have any other option, and I'd honestly rather trade the pick for something good than take an iffy player.

Did I just read he is asthmatic?

We should draft him just so our diabetic college scoring questionable draft pick has another college scoring questionable draft pick with another hurdle to over come to hang with!!

You have no idea that the exact same thing went through my head when I saw that post
