I did the same thing for each prospect the last few years (dedicated a thread to each of them) and it seemed to work pretty well. Thought I would do it again this year.

I've only seen Dionte 2 or 3 times, but I have liked what I have seen. He plays with a lot of poise and is the main (and pretty much only) offensive focus for Temple. He never seems to panic when 2 or even 3 defenders come at him and when they do, he can usually find an open team mate showing a willingness to share the ball and not force the issue.

He moves a lot off the ball using screens and a series of fakes to shake his defender to try and get open shots.

I'd like to see him drive a little more and use his quickish 1st step to get places, but he seems to be more content to take J's.

He reminds me a little of Rip Hamilton.

How big is this guy? Is he a 2/3 or a 1/2? I'd really want us to get a guy that has some decent size, although if Christmas can shoot and create from the 2 I would be fine if we took him late lottery.

He's around 6'5'' 6'6'' so he's big enough for a guard, but he's not a 3, though he could develop into that. He's great offensively and solid on the defensive end. He has a really good shot and decent handles but sits around the perimeter too much for my liking, but that could be from him being the only offensive threat on Temple's squad.

Christmas won't be a lottery pick unless he really turns it on later in the season, but he'd be a GREAT pickup if we could get him

I'm watching Christmas play against SLU right now (Jan 22nd) and he's looking sen-freaking-sational.

Not even half time yet and he has 8/5/4 and looks great.

The more I see this kid the more I like.
