I did the same thing for each prospect the last few years (dedicated a thread to each of them) and it seemed to work pretty well. Thought I would do it again this year.

I've seen Turner 4 times so far. I think he has great length which allows him to rebound well and makes him a good defender. He has pretty tight handles that he uses to shake his defender (usually with a cross over) and then pull up off the dribble for the J. His mid range J is really nice.

He doesn't finish well with contact and doesn't seem like the type of athlete that can rise above and throw down. Would be good if he added an NBA 3pt shot to his game.

Interesting prospect at the 2 spot though.

Reminds me of a less athletic Josh Childress

This guy intrigues me, can he create for other players as well? If we somehow are at the bottom of the lottery I think this guy might get some consideration.

He brings the ball down sometimes, but he's not someone who could run the point - if that's what you mean?

He seems pretty smart and has no problem giving the ball up so in that sense I'd say he can create for others.

I'm like you - I find him very intriguing. I think he's pretty close to being something really good. The lack of ability to finish in the lane bothers me a little though.

The Buckeyes are playing tonight at 7:00pm and it's on ESPN. I'll watch it before our games starts and record the rest for later to watch it then.

I've honestly never heard of him until you mentioned him a couple weeks back. Who would you honestly compare him to?

I watched Turner play against Michigan on the weekend.

He finished with 19/8/6 on 4/12 from the floor and 11/14 from the line.

There is SO much to like about this kid. He has a wicked cross over that he uses to make his defender invisable and get around him with ease. His mid range J is really good. There are just two missing things.

    1. His 3 ball
    2. His ability to finish with contact

I think the 1st thing can be worked on because he has a really nice stroke, but I'm not so sure about the 2nd thing. If he could finish with contact I would be ALL OVER him in the draft, maybe putting at #2 behind Harden on my SG board.

    Anyone else been seeing him?

Honestly, no. I really haven't heard much about him at all. But from what you're saying he seems to be pretty good. I'll try and check him out and see for myself
