i was wondering the same thing...bobcats games are mostly pretty crappy on tv
...if they don't plan on showing any bobcats games in hd? every night that there is a bobcats game, i check the fsn carolinas hd channel that was recently added and no dice. i looked in the tv schedule thread to see if the original list had specific dates set aside for hd games, but that didn't help. i emailed time warner and got a generic response that they were doing more research and would get back to me, but that is yet to happen. i assume all of us fans are in the dark, but anyone with some insight would be welcomed.

I have Directv and they have added the new "FS Carolinas" to their lineup (FSN South is actually Atlanta's and when there is a Cats game they just shift over their feed and if you're in a cats area you get cats, if your in a hawks/thrashers area get them...).
That said 99% of our games are in standard def, and looking at the schedule the only game we have left in HD is the game against PHX coming up in a few weeks.

The other thing is the games with no TV will always have HD coverage, if you have league pass. I honestly think next year we'll have 80-90% HD coverage just like most the other teams (Kings notoriously don't have HD either, but they have their own channel like we did with news14 last year).
yeah the standard broadcasts look like something from the early '90's or so. fuzzy and almost blurry looking. i assume it will be fixed next year, but with our history with tv deals i'm kinda nervous. additionally, i saw on the front page of the observer that charlotte's time warner customers are about to get a hike in their bills.... awesome.
Polarcat, The reason why you havent seen any HD games on Time Warner yet is because the Bobcats havent had an HD telecast since mid-december. Here are the HD telecasts remaining this year. All other games will be in standard definition. Hope this helps.
Monday, January 19 – vs. San Antonio Spurs – 2 p.m. ET – FSCR
Friday, January 23 – vs. Phoenix Suns – 7 p.m. ET – SPSO
Tuesday, January 27 – @ Los Angeles Lakers – 10:30 p.m. ET – FSCR
Friday, January 30 – @ Denver Nuggets – 9 p.m. ET – FSCR
Friday, February 6 – vs. Atlanta Hawks – 7 p.m. ET – FSCR
Wednesday, February 11 – vs. Washington Wizards – 7 p.m. ET – FSCR
Wednesday, February 18 – vs. Indiana Pacers – 7 p.m. ET – FSCR
Friday, March 13 – vs. Houston Rockets – 7 p.m. ET – FSCR
I cant wait to watch a Bobcats game in HD because their standard definition telecasts are nothing short of embarrasing. They look like they are using old camera's from the '80s.
