    Default HD games added to schedule

    FOX SPORTS CAROLINAS AND SPORTSOUTH

    TO TELEVISE FOUR OF NEXT SIX BOBCATS GAMES IN HD



    HD Telecasts Available on Time Warner Channel 263 in Charlotte



    Four of the next six Charlotte Bobcats games scheduled to be televised by FOX Sports Carolinas and SportSouth will be in high definition, starting with Monday’s contest against the San Antonio Spurs at 2 p.m. ET on FOX Sports Carolinas. Bobcats’ games in high definition are now available on Time Warner channel 263 in the Charlotte area.



    Of the 70 Bobcats games scheduled to be televised on FOX Sports Carolinas and SportSouth during the 2008-09 NBA season, 16 will be televised in high definition. Please see below for Bobcats’ games in HD in January.



    Monday, January 19 – vs. San Antonio Spurs – 2 p.m. ET – FSCR

    Friday, January 23 – vs. Phoenix Suns – 7 p.m. – SPSO

    Tuesday, January 27 – @ Los Angeles Lakers – 10:30 p.m. – FSCR

    Friday, January 30 – @ Denver Nuggets – 9 p.m. – FSCR



    FOX Sports Carolinas’ HD telecasts of Bobcats games are available to all cable television and satellite service providers throughout the Bobcats television territory (states of North and South Carolina). Please see below for a complete list of HD service providers in the Bobcats television territory. Please note that HD channel numbers may change without notice.



    The regional sports networks serving the Southeast – FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Tennessee – collectively reach more than 12 million cable and satellite television households in seven states in the Southeast and are the television home of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Carolina Hurricanes, Charlotte Bobcats, Memphis Grizzlies and the Nashville Predators, as well as the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Southeastern Conference. SportSouth reaches more than nine million homes in six Southeastern states and is the television home of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Thrashers and Southern Conference. SportSouth also offers expanded coverage of the University of Georgia, University of South Carolina and University of Tennessee. Combined, the four networks produce more than 800 live local events each year, including 180 in high definition.

    Still wish they would put the cats on Comporium so my dad (who I have converted into a Cats fan) could watch from Rock Hill... But he's getting DirecTV soon enough.

    We also have Comporium (Indian Land) so I definitely feel his pain. It would been great to see the tv providers list grow, and hopefully it will soon.

    AFAIK, not a single provider has been added during this season. That is definitely not a good sign.
