Karma is indeed a bitch.
Was looking at scores and notice in LA game that Bynum played only 3 minutes. Went to read their Boards over at RGM and there is a Thread besides the Game Thread for "Bynum Injured Again". Apparently his injured his right knee. From what the fans were writing, it is not pretty and they expect the worst. X-rays negative but MRI tomorrow. The fans were saying that reading Kobe's expression seemed to tell them the worst news was coming after the MRI. They expect ligament damage. If bad, likely surgery and gone for the year.
I am no proponent of cheering for injuries to anyone. But I wonder if this is not cosmic justice we are seeing tonight. No Bynum means no title in LA. And the injury to him of all people is very ironic - or as I mentioned. something like cosmic justice. See what the MRI shows tomorrow.
Karma is indeed a bitch.

Apparently he collided with Kobe. Depending upon the angle, it may just be a sprain. Have to see what the MRI shows. But the fact it was a collision with Kobe makes this all the more something wreaking of karma.

This is way too fantastic!![]()
I really don't like to see any player injured.
Unless that player is Richard Jefferson.
Neither do I, and that includes Dick Head (besides, him getting traded to Milwaukee was MUCH better!).
Regardless of "intent" he did take out our best player and probably killed our playoff chances. It just seems fitting (and cosmic justice is a fine term) it's repaid in kind.

That's hilarious!!
On Bynum: Might have been more fitting if Marc Gasol SMOKED Kobe last night on a hard foul causing mass internal injury. We lose our best player - they lose theirs.
Plus, if it was on a hard foul, we'd get to see the Lakers fans up in arms insisting a suspension and crying "why oh why, the world is so unfair".
