    Default Orlando Game

Enough with the moral victories already we need to get some wins to get into the playoffs. I am pleased to see that we can run with Orlando when Dwight Howard puts up those kind of numbers, but fellas we can't keep losing close games. I mean the knicks beat the Spurs tonight in OT and the Bucks beat the Pistons. We are losing ground fast with just over 30 games to play.

As much as i hate to say it this is a team training for next season, even the coach has some things to learn about how to utilize what he has.

If we had this lineup a month ago then we may have had a good shot but now our focus needs to be on truly seeing what each piece of the puzzle can contribute so we know how to win these games we constantly lose this year

Hint #1 - We no longer need to rely on Felton to play superman with less than ten seconds in regulation. Move the Fing ball

Listened on the radio because I was at work, but with Orlando having Nelson out this is a game we should have one given the improved roster and play lately. I think we will play well down the stretch but there's too many teams for us to pass to get in the playoffs unless we just go on a 7 or 8 game winning streak which is unlikely given we have so many road games left.

BTW I've been on the board for ages, just don't post too often.

Welcome back, coach!!! It's been a while...don't stay gone so long next time!

As for the playoffs, LB4, until we occupy a spot, don't get stressed out over it; there's no reason. There's the top 8 and then there's the rest; we're "the rest." If it's going to happen, it will happen, but don't scoreboard watch at this point. All that matters is we're part of "the rest" and just have to win games, and if we don't, we shouldn't be in the playoffs anyway.

I understand the frustation over tonight's loss, but just don't put it in the context of the playoffs; it'll do you a world of good.

This should have been a victory. LB didnt use his bench in th 2nd Half. Felton hit some big shots but went hero again on us. He does his best when driving and dishing. Someone email the Rock so he can deliverth the smack down and teach Felton his role. I like how Emeka play'd tonight, showed some new post moves. I how now idea why DJ only play'd 15 mins when he hit every shot he took other then the one over Superman himself. It was a good fight against a supposely better team. But this is the wake up call for the rest of the NBA!!
As long as NC has a team, I'm going to cheer for it

The team played pretty well. Dwight was a monster but we were still leading most of the game. The critical stretch came after GW knocked that ball off the orlando player and those fans started yelling at the refs. The next two calls are make up calls and the magic get all the calls the rest of the night. The Bobcats have to be so good that the refs can't take the game from us we have had plenty of time to realize we never get the call we have to just be that much better.

once again, i'm not surprised to hear criticism about felton. it's biased to criticize him for taking that shot and "going hero" again

    1) felton was 2/2 for shots at the buzzer in that game
    2) he was having a good shooting night
    3) who else was having a good shooting night? think about your options...bell is off, GW was off, emeka would have gotten blocked by dwight, diaw hadnt really tested the 3 pt ..

he did the right thing i dont see any reason why someone could criticize him

if anything...this is the second time that Bell can't hit clutch free throws..the other time being at the lakers game that shouldn't have never gone into OT and he missed TWO free throws

this type of criticism is pretty biased..unfounded..there's plenty of blame/criticism to go around the team for last night losses, but that last second shot is not deserving of any

...and this really needs to be in the "game thread"...but yes...Bell makes his free throw and nothing to discuss but what a good win...frankly I'm getting tired of Bell (missed shots) and Diaw (shows up every other game...maybe...or throws the ball away) getting free passes...or is it always going to be bang Ray when others stink?

Agreeded Howard shot more from the stripe than all the Bobcats toghter. People see that kind of crap. thats one reason attendance is in a free fall.
Another thing though Wallace tried he couldn't stay in frount of Hedo.I think its going to take Wallace four or five games to get his wind back . But still impressed with WALLACE.

Cat you can, put that last second shoot and miss on Brown . We had plenty of time to call a time out and set a play. Your best player of the night just took a tough shoot at the end of the game. It was in and out . Felton shot 50 percent for the game and had 10 boards and 5 assist . Little too much to be talking trash you think?
DJ agreeded was shooting good and i think would have got more time if he hadn't let a player as sorry as lue use him in the second half. DJ will be one nice pick up once he decides to commets to defence. Against a smaller backcourt he would have got him more playing time.

I still think we need 18 more wins out of the last 29 to get in . I EXPECT BIG INPROVMENT IN THE LAST 29 GAMES............ 39 wins gets us in.

    Lets all be honest.

We knew going into this week that our best case scenario was to split the Orlando games. To even think we could go 2-0 on an Orlando team having the year that they are was just wishful thinking. We proved that we can run with them and I am certain that 5okafor and Diop both learned some lessons about guarding superman. Let’s just hope they have the legs to play again tonight and then take those lessons into Fridays game when Orlando comes to Charlotte.
