Henry Williams is no longer the Bobcats' television analyst, and you must respect the hard choice he made. Williams is pastor of New Zion Missionary Church in Charlotte, and was struggling to juggle his duties there with the team's travel schedule. So Wednesday he resigned from the TV job to devote himself to his ministry.

He was a very good commentator and he will definitely be missed.

He has a lot going on with his church and I have to respect someone putting something that probably doesn't pay all that well above being on TV. I kinda hope they can get Mugsy to replace him, but they are mentioning some guy who does duke games.

I have no problem with this. Stephanie Ready is twice the commentator Henry was.

well duh, this explains it: (she has a pretty good background)

Stephanie Ready became the first female coach of a men's professional league in 2001. [1][2]. From 2001 to 2003, she was an assistant coach for the now defunct Greenville Groove of the National Basketball Development League (the minor league of the National Basketball Association).

During one of the telecasts she said used to be a coach...I'd assume she play'd college ball too
As long as NC has a team, I'm going to cheer for it

I am a big fan of Ready as an announcer.
She comes across a lot more like a fan, often she says what i am yelling at the TV. Like last night when one of the other teams players took what looked to be 4 - 6 steps with the ball she called him out on it. And when Gerald went over the back to slap the ball into the defenders leg and out of bounds I looked at my wife and said "Hes lucky he didn't get called for that" And not 2 seconds later on the replay she said the same thing.
I feel like she is rooting for us.
