    Default The Fight Club

This will be a running thread to argue, debate and possibly answer the question

"Who would win in a fight?"

Feel free to present your own matchups if you'd like.

My first matchup Shaquille O'Neal -vs- Anderson Silva

Shaq is bigger, stronger and still incredibly athletic at 36 years old plus he probably outweighs Silva by a good 170 pounds.
On the other hand, Silva has proven himself to be the most dominant martial artist on the planet in a long, long time. But could he overcome Shaq's power and size advantage?

    Discuss.

Umm yeah no-brainer..Silva because he is trained in Martial Arts..Shaq is trained in dunking. Watching that video I'd rather not be the one in the octagon with Silva...

I'm not 100% sold that Silva could take him out. Some of those punches and kicks that are devastating at 180 pounds might not have the same effect to a dude thats 350.

You want to know something that's amazing to me? Shaq is listed at a Svelte 325 now. Lebron is supposed to weigh 28-290. That's only a 30 pound difference.... Look at the difference in body types?

BTW I would still take Silva over Shaq, but if O'Neal gets ahold of him.. its over

I don't see LeBron listed anywhere over 250

and Shaq looks more like 340...

    2:24-2:50. "250+"

My point is, they're both undermeasured in the weight category.. and while:

Shaq may weigh 340, he's also 7'1/7'2.That's 85 inches. So thats around 4lb/inch.

Now LeBron is 6'8. Lets Say 270-280lb. (which is about 3.5lb/inch.)

Okay no more math mumbo jumbo Shaq is considered to be fat or overweight. But LeBron is right on his lb/inch scale so I'm basically saying LeBron is a HUGE DUDE

Oh LeBron is for sure a beast. No doubt about that. I was just saying if you're gonna use Shaq's "list price" you have to use LeBron's too. But it'd be a good fight
