    Thumbs down Gooden/Smith waived

Drew Gooden and Joe Smith have been waived, just in time for possible playoff teams to pick them up. While the 'Cats don't have a direct interest in them, we could be stung by them. What I don't get is why Sacramento would buy out Gooden??

    Thoughts?

Sacramento will most likely (unless they already did ) buy out Sam Cassell too. They are probably vacating roster spots to fill with young D-Leaugers this season and fill with 2nd round picks this up comming draft.

Joe Smith will probably go back to Cleavland, and i am guessing Drew will head for Orlando. Both players have played for these teams in the past and had good years their. Both teams are condentors who need their services. The only 'shocker' i could see occurring is if Cleavland gets BOTH. (Ben Wallace is done for the year and Andy Valegro is always injured, so they just need to not renew that D-Leauge guy's 10 day and they could get both).

The Cavs were talking about a "surprise" signing the other day. While everyone thinks that meant Smith, I'm thinking it really meant Gooden. I could see them getting both. The Suns have a spot to fill as well, maybe they'll try to pick one up to get back into the playoffs.

I read that Stromile Swift also was getting bought out. I wonder if we would take a look at him for our 15th roster spot.

We need a guard, not a big

And why would the Kings buy out Gooden when in his only game for them he puts up a dub-dub??

Cavs have signed joe Smith, the Spurs got "The Goods", and D.Wade got Some Head....
I would have liked to see the Bobcats get head(get your mind outta the gutter) He would have been a good pickup for them, IMO coming off the bench with the rook... Oh well, no Head for us

According to some court documents, D-Wade has had enough head for the city of MIA lately
