I was reading ESPN.com's recap of the game and this was written in the notes section
Brown acknowledged they've discussed trying to sign G Luther Head, who was waived Saturday by Houston.
Thoughts?

Realgm reports him choosing Miami about an hour ago. Mickael Gelabale anyone?
Gelabale had torn his ACL almost a year ago (March 20, 200. By now, he should have regained his health back. But he has not played any kind of basketball since then.
If he's healthy, I really like to see him playing, he's a very exciting player. But I doubt all we need is a Gelabale type athlete. We need a quick scorer off the bench, a guy like Shannon Brown.
You should see this.

lol if we signed him we could've started a "Got Head?" thread
There has to be some player out there in FA land saying to himself "If i join the cats just before they make the playoffs, and they do make it, maybe ill get the feather in my cap for being the one to tip the scales" and come down to our team and show them what its like to play like the big boys?
What to do, what to do...
Head is said to be wanting playing time. Why would he want to go to Miami when he is going to have to push for playing time with Cook and Dorell Wright who will be coming back from an injury soon. He wouldn't have to worry about playing time here. He comes in as the backup sg and with Bell's shoulder injury could be in the starting lineup. He gives us the same thing Ray gives to DJ on the floor, another floor general that can handle the ball. DJ seems to play better with Felts on the floor at the same time and this allows us to give Felts more resting time. I was at the game last night and Felts seemed to play even in garbage time because there is no backup at sg. Martin isn't going to cut it at the 2 but he can help with depth at the 2 and 3 if needed. Get this deal done.
Fine by me, I said in the Jackie Butler thread that we need depth at the 2, and he provides that, and can score fairly well for a bench player. But ILBIT all the way
