Well, I thought it was worth posting this note. At least we now know the truth. Thankfully, Kwame Brown was NOT MJ's choice, but likely old man Abe. And apparently MJ had enough sense to think Elton Brand was worth trading for. Man, if he traded down to get Brand and got another solid pick, he would be hailed as a genius in that draft. Now, he is really on the hook only for the Ammo pick. Still a bad pick, but at least it is one and not two!

I mightve taken Kwame if I was MJ...I don't blame anyone for that, picks are almost never about talent alone at the top 5 level anyway. But this is good.
