this might be a dumb question but if we make the playoffs, does our pick then go to denver? lottery teams = all the teams that didn't make the playoffs, right? i forget the details of the deal so anyone that can shed some light would be most appreciated. also, which pick(s) do we have in the 2nd round?

According to Higgins (via Bonnell) it's protected thru 20th...so we're getting the pick.

I can't see how anyone would be against selecting ANY player in the late first/early second round. Most of those guys end up in the D League or Europe anyway.

our 2 seconds for the 26th overall, grab Han.... grab a SG in the first round, Curry or Henderson come to mind. Trade Nazr for anything, keep May on a short term minimal contract so he's very tradable, keep Cartier, dump Singletary (not developing the way I expected), hope for the best with Lexy, sign Felton to a tradable contract in case we decide to do that.

I really can not even come close to gaging what kind of interest Felton will garner in the market. If he is expecting an 7.5-8 mill per, he is in for a rude awakening.

Yeah i hear ya there. I talked to Howard for a few minutes last night's game and told him we want him back, and he said "unless they don't want me, ill be back" I asked him if we wanted to be an assistant coach and he told me he's got another season left in his legs so he'd rather play one more before teaching, but when he is ready to be an assistant he'd love to stay with Larry.
