^ the message is great, and I, myself, don't take anything for granted, though, sometimes, I tend to get lost in all the privileges and picture a world where no inequality resides, but, when I see a click here to buy button (even though it says the proceeds go to charity), it just screams HYPOCRISY. Using the means with which one makes the other feel guilty to spread that same message is nothing short of self-righteous conceit. (don't mind me, I just truly despise any form of activism that suffers commercialisation)

Not being racist, but I just wonder what the numbers would be like if we didn't include Africa...

And plenty of the poor are more happy than the rich...

I for one am content and don't take much for granted, although I do feel blessed to live in the US, have a bank account, go to school, and have two parents. Life is good. But its all what you make it.

I think what you meant to say was not 'Africa' but 'Third World Countries'. Africa is poor, but most of South/East/Southeast Asia and South America are not that far ahead, and sometimes even poorer.

True, but they also have urban centers. When you look at Africa, I cannot think of one country outside of South Africa that has a thriving city I could see myself living in. I could live in some of the Aisian/South American cities, because they have more wealth. I was thinking that it was more flatline poor in Africa, since they are mostly military dicatorships, right? but I could be wrong, I'm no economic philosopher or world geographer.

And how does only 3% of the world have ACCESS to the internet...thats gotta be wrong?

It says that video was made from a text from 1990 written by a Mrs. Donella Meadows. That could be why its only 3%

I exited out of the video early, simply because the "music" in the background annoyed me so much.

Numbers would be way different if they didnt do 3rd world countries
