I've grown to hate EA, I won't be buying Madden or any EA title this year, or any year until they get their act together, which until people start boycotting them or they lose exclusivity, won't happen.

But I like that we fianlly get some respect.

I agree with both points Teej.

There use to be a time that Madden was a must buy for me the day it came out but the last five years I've only rented it or borrowed it from friends. It just isn't a game I care about anymore.

Our overall team rating makes no sense (although it's top 10) we should at least be were the Titans are.

    Bears-79 Bills-76Bengals-67 Broncos-70Browns-68Buccaneers-74Cardinals-86Chargers-88 Chiefs-69Colts-87Cowboys-85 Dolphins-77 Eagles-88Falcons-8149ers-73Giants-89 Jaguars-71Jets-78 Lions-65 Packers-78 Panthers-83 Patriots-93 Raiders-71Rams-66Ravens-82Redskins-79Saints-74 Seahawks-77 Steelers-92Texans-75Titans-87Vikings-80

Honestly I'm just happy ours is higher than the Saints & Falcons with how we already seem to be afterthoughts.

The Panthers are ALWAYS an afterthought for some reason. In the past few years, we've had more success that everybody but a handful of teams but we haven't ever been given any respect.

Hard to get respect when that success doesn't include back to back winning seasons.

^somewhat true we NEED to be more consistent but it has more to do with being a small market team imo.

I think it has more to do with no back to back winning seasons, a new DC whose defense has never been good against the run, Jake's playoff meltdown, the team losing all it's experienced depth along the O-line, and the fact that our #2 receiver is 36 and only has a history of putting up big numbers in contract years.

I just see all those as much more valid reasons for not getting any respect than the small market argument.

Valid point like I stated, Meeks will surprise we have a lot more size on the D line to be able to stop the run compared to the Colts our D is just young with untapped potential. Jake f*cking sucks no argument, agreed on oline depth NOBODY can afford to get hurt. Moose is solid still with great blocking for our run game I see Dwayne Jarrett emerging as our #2 by midseason though.
