Default Curry - At what cost?

The news said today we looking into moving up in the draft to land Curry . Curry would be great to put butts in the seats . And from a business point of view the local underdog favorite. Savior of the Bobcats comes to Charlotte .
From a ability point of view, is Curry really that good?. Everything you read says he is. From a size point of view all you read is the kid is still growing to around 6.5 . Thats large enough to play either the point or the two guard.

Next what would we have to give up , Or what we willing to give up to land Curry?
I'm thinking we have two move up to the 5th pick to get him?
So im thinking some kind of deal with the Wizards?

Thoughts on Curry and all the questions he brings to the table with him ?

I don't think this is as much of a draft thread as it is . Should we make trades and create room to get him and at what cost

If we put him in the lineup at SG along with DJ playing the point then our perimeter shooting would be crazy. on the defensive side of the ball we would be hurting against bigger backcourts.

I'm from the ILBIT school, so if LB signs off on a deal to get him then I'm all for it.

i would trade all our picks to a higher team to get curry if that is what we really needed, then trade someone else like DJ or Emeka and get a couple 1st rounders we use to fill in other needs.

ILBIT, but I wouldn't want him necessarily, and he doesn't want to be here.

Teej...if the Knicks do trade up with Memphis then Curry will not be there...The only way I'd trade up for Curry is if the Wizards want to trade for DJ...then I'd do it our as Ziggy pointed out we could be very small...and frankly the Wizards want to trade out so why not?

I think if we get Curry it will end up with us and Sac. Dj, Nazy and #12 for Donte, either McCants in a sign and trade or Kevin Martin and # 4. We might have to put in one of our seconds to entice the deal. I doubt they will give up Martin so we would have to look at Thompson in this deal for it to average out.

I'd take Thompson in a heart beat...not sure the Kings will trade him though...not sure about that at all...

Welcome to Bobcatsplanet post and have fun.

Washington wanting to blow up and start over save money. Us wanting to push for the playoffs and put butts in the seats . I could see us doing somthing like this as Washington sees this as a week draft any way.

In from Washington, Jamison,Crittenton, Washingtons first..
Out from Charlotte. Diaw,Augustin and our two second round picks.

Washington gets a proven point cheap//// and a power foward in his prime with a decent contract.
Arenas, Augustin, Buttler, Diaw, A good start to a nice core to build.

    Charlotte,
    Felton, Crittenton
    Bell, Curry [fifth pick]
    Wallace, [ 12th pick] Vlad
    Jamisom , Alexis, May
    Mek, Diop, Nazr,

We get much older in Jamison. But we be come a instant play off team. We put butts in the seats with locals Curry, Jamison, Felton, and all the love Wallace has gained because of his hussle, Add in a local coaching favorite Brown.
Promote the team as the home town greats with a new owner MJ . who shows up for all the home games

You sell tickets again , Charlotte becomes the talk around the NBA with all the changes .

Is all the changes really good for the team . I don't know but what i do know is it would sell a hell of a lot of tickets.
