    Thumbs up Great Peppers news

    http://www.wralsportsfan.com/panthers/story/5340248/
Maybe there is a reason team officials with the Carolina Panthers are confident defensive end Julius Peppers will show up to training camp on time.* Peppers has been a no-show to all of the team's summer school workouts and he has yet to sign a one year tender with the team. But a recent text message he sent to a defensive teammate could give some answers about his willingness to play this year in Carolina.* Play-by-play voice Mick Mixon was at a function not long ago and he shared that message to 99.9FM The Fan ESPN Radio.

. "My friend, one of the linebackers said 'hey look at this we got a text from Julius'," Mixon told The Insiders on Thursday. "The text said 'hey, out here in Arizona working out, I won't be early for camp but I won't be late, and I'll be ready to go.
Best news I've heard all day hopefully he doesn't hold out now

It really sucks Peppers made such a fall from grace. He and Steve Smith have always been fan favorites but Julius has started rubbing people the wrong way.

I hope a lot of the negatives were just being blown up by the media like when they said he wasn't talking to his teammates & Beason (I think) shut that rumor down quickly. I wanted him gone when he said he would only accept four teams in a trade if he signs I think he'll bust his ass on the field to get back on the fans good side & to impress Meeks.

Wasn't an Indy style D one he wanted though? A hybrid D-end like Freeney? That was all Meeks...

But I just hope his arrogant ass get's what's coming, and someone knocks him down hard in camp. Please.

It was reported as Dallas, two NFC South teams and an AFC team you might be right about the Colts

Dallas, Philly, Washington, and the Patriots were the teams that several sites mentioned as his "list".

Peppers still needs to be traded. 1 million dollars per game is just silly. He's not that good and the fans have turned their backs on him. For a million he better get a sack a game and two forced fumbles. Plus do the play by play and sell hotdogs in the stands........
As long as NC has a team, I'm going to cheer for it

I'm interesting in seeing how he plays with help finally once again on the Dline with Charles Johnson and Everette Brown not to mention a new scheme/coach.

Yea, I wish he would just be traded.

He's one of the most overrated players I've ever seen.
