I hope not. I don't think he is very good and would just take up a valuable roster spot.
Cartier is a UFA based on his calling up from the D-League and then extension to full year; however, per bobcats.com they just had a school pep rally fitness day or whatever, and he was there. Maybe he was just easy to get back from summer break, but I'd think one of the draft picks would have been better to give some media exposure. Just a thought, if brown plays 3/4 and "smash" plays 2...it'd still be nice to have a 2/(undersized)3 combo on the roster who is willing to work hard and learn, and doesn't bitch about being inactive when need be.
What to do, what to do...

I think if we look at a big combo it will be in the 1-2 vein since Brown plays 3-4...and if it is a 1-2 big combo I think they'll have to be able to hit the 3ptr. better than Cartier does...
Jefferson was a 1-2 combo but I can't really say he shot the ball better then Martin. Most of Jeffersons makes were in the lane. Martin play'd maybe two or three good games and failed the rest of the season. Bringing him back for one more year doesn't bother me since he's a chep pick up. But unles he show's some improvement there's no reason to NBA welfare him like Sean May.
I dont see us keeping either one of those guys Martin or Jefferson....![]()
......Go Bobcats!!!!! !!!..
If we keep either one it will be Dontell, but I doubt either one stays.
As as sentimental as the next guy (hell, what am I saying, definitely MORE sentimental than the next guy), but there should be no reason he's back. Seems like a great guy, but I just don't think he's NBA caliber hard as that is to say. Best wishes to him!
