ever notice that when he goes to a new team or comes back from an injury his team does worse?
I know.

I am not superstituous. I think I would offer a three year twelve million dollar deal and see what that does. I love the way Howard played last season, but there is no way I would pass on Gooden. He could be a solid big off the bench for years, and when the rotation gets shorter he could challenge Diop. Competition does wonders. Look at Felton and DJ.
Pickings are getting slim so no surprise we're interested (other than we continue to talk to guys who will most likely get the full MLE). Thing with him tho I've always heard he's not that smart BBIQ wise and is somewhat of a black hole.

Yes I know this and that is why I said if we could find someone for Nazr. Talks out of Houston is that Yao is opting for surgery and will likely miss the season. Is there anyway we could ship them Bell and Nazr or Diop for Battier, Dorsey and Berry? This would work wonders for us but not so good for them.
Gooden has talent but he only uses it on one side of the ball... The offensive side. THat is what the bobcats could use a scoring PF but Gooden will wear on LB patience very quickly

That's why you pair him with Diop who is all defense and no offense, a slasher style sf like Brown with defensive and offensive skills, Hendo better d and some offense and Dj who can be another scorer on the floor. His lack of d can be covered up with defensive help from others.
not even if he loses the rat tail
he's a black hole on offense
