its this schedule of the french national team. I dont have any right to judge who should play during games but why would you play Noah over Ajinca?
Well its disappointing he does not get to play but at least he is around NBA talent during practices.

yeah i know but i just dont like Noah very much, why the hell is he playing for them anyways?
Noah is MUCH better than Ajinca, like him or not. Lexy is there to learn, not to get pt.
I have seen a couple of questions about why Noah is on the French team. His father was a very famous French tennis player named Jannick (sp?) Noah. Dude was good and had a flare albeit less flare than his son, but he was entertaining and good. Joakim was born in Manhattan, but obviously had to chose the French team if he wanted to play international ball.
Ajinca's a couple years away anyway. His time will come.
Before the 2006 draft, I told my dad, "You know who I really want the Cats to take this year? That Roy guy from Washington..."
Aaah because Noah is a better player than Ajinca![]()

I think Hendo is the next MJ. Clearly already a better player than MJ was at this point in his career. Maybe better than SJack. We'll have to see but, this guy looks like 2nd GOAT (behind Allen Iverson) material to me
Ajinca is a little bit injured, that's the first reason why he is not playing during the first games. The second reason is that in this team, they are other good interiors: Diaw, Petro, Noah, Pietrus (Florent not Mickael), Turiaf, Traoré and Koffi. All of them have more experience than him. It is not because you play in NBA (or that you are sleeping on the bench of a NBA team) that you are better than European players.
He will be cut before the competition if there is no injury among those guys.

PS: indeed, Yannick Noah, the father of joakim was a great french tennis player. He won one grand slam in the 80's (the French one in 1983). He is now a bad pop singer.
