......Go Bobcats!!!!! !!!..
This is so sad. Mek has been one of the only consistent Cats in his five years. How sad that this trade won't even improve the team...
Before the 2006 draft, I told my dad, "You know who I really want the Cats to take this year? That Roy guy from Washington..."
Mek, you've been my favorite Bobcat. Good luck in New Orleans, I'll be watching! Shame we couldn't have seen what a second season under LB yielded.
You never lived up our expectations, you never played as a franchise player. But thanks for all contributions, you were such a character Mek...

this trade will be by far the hardest to swallow. thanks for being the oak of the cats. by the way where is the official thank you sean may thread
Good player, great man of character. Honored to have had him on the team for a while.
have fun in nawlins!
The work Mek does for AIDS in Africa is huge. He's been the guy since the beginning, coming straight from college and being the face of a franchise isn't easy and he's taken a whole lot of heat from the city and fans. Voted most attractive man in Charlotte a few years ago, I'm sure the women of our city will miss him but Ty is a bit of a model I think? Horrible Digression there, I'm sorry (do we have women who check our boards anymore?)
The play has been consistent and consistently good. You can't ask for much more out of an undersized center who has had Primoz, Mohammed, Othella Harington, Melvin Ely and Jake Vohskul as back ups and co-starters in the PF/C roles. The team and fans owe Mek a huge thank you for his professionalism, passion, work ethic, on the court play and off the court leadership. He'll be missed, but we're getting someone that has a lot of the same qualities in return...
Mek you were great for the city, team, and fans yet your gone. I hope you enjoy your all star appearences and succes in new orleans, you were my fav player and still will be. gettin the new orleans jersey asap. but go bobcats!
